yearly renewal of licences

November 23rd, 2004 | Category: Malaysia Boleh

WTF? They seriously want to do this to us?

I raise my two hands and even my two feet if you want to OBJECT!

Come on Malaysia government, can’t you think of a better and more efficient way to tackle your infamous ever increasing road accidents problem than to add extra burdens on our shoulders? I guess it won’t help much because Malaysians will forever be the craziest drivers around, trust me. Perhaps you should focus more on the bribing issue before you move on to deal with us consumers. =P

Sunday

November 21st, 2004 | Category: fitness, unwind, weekend

It’s Sunday morning 3am here. Finally have time to sit down with a glass of my favorite Cabernet Savignon to unwind myself and think back of how the week has gone by so quickly. Apart from a heaty argument with my boss during midweek resulting in a few impulse purchases thereafter (yeah the typical women syndrome that only retail therapy can cure =p nvm the pinch of my pocket) I guess I’ve been doing pretty ok.

Been looking for a new gym in the city cos my current one is closing down next month and guess what? Ray is even now considering to join me getting fit together, how nice would that b! Though I know the only concrete reason he’d agree to TRY dragging his lazy ass onto the treadmill is that this new fitness centre that we are considering is just directly opposite his workplace, so it’d be extremely convenient for him. But whatever that is, it would definitely make me the happiest person considering that I’ve been going to the gym alone in the past year.

The Datin’s Diary

November 16th, 2004 | Category: blogger

In the past two nights while surfing the net, I was absolutely hooked on by this datin’s diary and I just couldn’t help but finish reading all her entries in one go. Be her blog a fiction or not, it’s definitely a well written, thought-provoking and mentally satisfying piece of work. Unless a professional writer/ columnist or the like, there’s hardly anyone who can write with such might these days. Just look at the amount of comments received in each of her entry, though some bollocks have successfully put her down and the site has been abandoned for months now, it’s still worth checking out. Trust me, I won’t bluff you wan =P

Bridget Jones

November 07th, 2004 | Category: movie, musings, politics

Haven’t posted anything for a week, just kinda busy and tired and lack of inspiration to write anything. Another bummer is that I’ve been feeling under the weather again, yes again… only managed to hit the gym twice last week due to my deteriorating flu condition. That sums up to a pretty unproductive week.

Bush’s winning the election has devastated millions of people around the world whilst for me, I’ve chosen to only take the humorous side of the consequences that followed. A friend sent me a clip earlier on regarding the voting machine which really cracked me up big time and I would love to share with you all if I could, just buzz me in MSN if you want it. I also find this very entertaining. Not that I don’t care about the people dying out there, but well… Sometimes things can be as lame as can be; and life can be as bitchy as can be, but for things we can’t change we’ll just have to deal with it whether we like it or not. Bah… I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Watched Bridget Jones II The Edge of The Reason this afternoon. But just not to spill the beans for my girls who might read this I won’t talk much about it now. I’ve actually read both books years ago so the plots didn’t really surprise me but seeing real characters playing the roles were very satisfying. I was startled to see how much weight Renee has gained in this film compared to the original one, yet she still looked pretty appealing casting as Bridget. A truly warm and funny love comedy it was, I even liked this better than the first one.

Autumn in Liverpool

November 02nd, 2004 | Category: farewell, musings, thoughts

Ā a pint of lager

My Halloween Sunday was very well spent albeit a really lazy one, time and companion were all that mattered whilst the crap dinner and the absolutely unconvincing horror flick ‘Exorcist The Beginning’ were only trivial.

~

Time, space, freedom and notthingness were all that I craved. But these needs only get fulfilled on Sunday where all my worries will be thrown to the back of my head temporarily because with choice, I prefer to concentrate on enjoying every moment of laziness that I deserve.

~

Before I know Monday had already set in. I don’t loathe it either, as I know more calories will be burnt with my workout routine and I’ll be glee to see an extra pound falls off the scale each week. That’s a big encouragement in the agenda and besides, my learning everyday makes me more contented each week. For all I know this drive is equally essential just as what I told my sis, I’m not doing nothing here; I’m gearing up to prepare for what I am to face pretty soon. Life may seem to be stuck in a rut at the moment but with choice, I’m also cherishing the beauty of it.

~

Four more months to go, I’m eagerly counting the days but at the same time, I’m already missing England.

Autumn scenic views in Liverpool.
