Sick after Mooncake
I’m still feeling under the weather, my room and office’s bin are filled up with wrapped wantons. My colleague said the sight is disturbing. I couldn’t differentiate between phlegm and mucus anymore. Oh well, only if I could help it at all. The doctor I went to see 2 weeks ago was crap, the medicine he prescribed didn’t take effect on me at all. Missed Wai, I never really had to see a doctor when if I was having a seasonal cold, just a phone call away I’d get my prescription from her and the chemist was usually only a few yards away.
I’m glad mooncake festival is finally over. I hadn’t eaten any mooncakes in the past 8 years or so and this time around was more like a mooncake binge, I can’t tell you Ihow much ‘ve enjoyed myself with all different flavours but the problem is, I will need extra 100 hours of running on the treadmill to burnt off those exuberant calories. The moon last night was especially big and bright yellowish… …
