Le Bouchon

July 23rd, 2007 | Category: celebration, fine dining, indulgence

I don’t often go for super fine dining restaurants since I returned home because it’s less affordable than in overseas.

Nevertheless, it’s okay to pamper yourself once in a while or for a special ocassion.

Last Saturday, I’ve been pampered to have dinner at the Le Bouchon, a cozy French restaurant situated in Changkat Bukit Bintang.

This restaurant offers an intimate and cozy ambience, a very friendly atmosphere and fascinating elegant décor featuring classic wooden furniture and with candle stands on the table, it makes a very romantic setting.

Let’s look at the food we ordered. Due to the restricted diet we couldn’t go very adventurous.

LES ESCARGOTS DE BOURGOGNE AUX EPINARDS - The Burgundy snails were notable for its creamy spinach sauce.

Les Escapoles De Saumon Croustillantes Aux Lentilles Vertes Du Puy

What the hell Macrokiosk???

July 13th, 2007 | Category: Malaysia Boleh, sms scam

I just found out today I’m a victim of the sms scam! Goodness me, I’ve been blindly “robbed” of over 100 bucks in the past 3 months on the smses I received from a mobile content provider which I DID NOT REGISTER FOR! I have no freaking idea how did this MxxxoKxxxk got my number from, all I know is all these annoying smses keep pushing to my mobile whether I like it or not, and RM4 is charged to my bill for each sms!!! No kidding,

RM4 for ONE SMS!!!

I just had to make a scene at the Ipoh branch Maxis centre this afternoon after finding out that my maxis service has been interrupted because it exceeded the given credit limit. It’s so freaking frustrating. Imagine me driving back to Ipoh with no phone connection at all! What happened if I did need to make emergency calls on the road??? Then I was puzzled why my phonebill is such rocketing high when I’ve already downgraded my plan to talk75 6 months ago and more so when I hardly make phonecalls these days.

Maxis says it’s not their fault and I should complain to the content provider instead. But what the fucking hell, why can’t Maxis stop paying these illegal scammers because me as a consumer HAS NOT AGREED or GIVEN ANY CONSENSUS to receive these kind of smses!!! I want them to bar any smses from a 5 digit number but they said they couldn’t do it. For fuck sake do something then!

I honestly feel robbed, cheated and raped.

I’m currently blogging from Ipoh Specialist Centre, lying on the couch in room 2×3 whilst watching my sister sleeping. It’s really ouch to look at those tubes coming out from her body but I’m glad the ordeal is over for her. Praying for her speedy recovery now.

I feel like a fish bone stuck in my throat. What has this country become of????

Drunken Yoga

July 13th, 2007 | Category: fitness

After 3 glasses of white wine during the company offsite on Thursday, Anabelle and myself were pondering whether to walk down the street in Telawi Bangsar for more drinks because we both had a terrible day and we needed to whine about it; but we made a conscious decision that we better be more constructive than destructive to our bodies so we made it to the yoga class instead! hahaha… It was a pretty good workout. We probably burnt some extra calories with those effort being put into balancing ourselves. *grin* I also remember reading my friend Cat’s blog sometime ago about her going to yoga class after a terrible hangover.

Not a bad twist at all.

Eeeeek.
Can’t stand men who fight for seats with women in LRT train.
Chivalry hardly exists here.
