Condo’s Robbery
Calvin’s Body Combat class was really awesome. He’s probably one of the best combat instructors in town that I know of. After all the sweating punching and kicking I thought tonight I would be slumbering away.
Â
NOT.
Â
Neighbour’s unit (opposite mine) got broken into this evening. Apparently it was a daylight breakin. Their maid was at home when it happened but she was totally helpless. Sis tried to call me frantically but I’ve left my mobile in the gym locker which got her panicked. There we thought our condo should be one of the more secured ones around if not the best but its security really have disappointed us. Sigh.
 Â
I guess everywhere is the same because this is Malaysia.

Spring is here
So I know Spring is here even though I can’t feel it as there’s no difference to the weather here, is there? But spring/ summer collections are out and everywhere. They ain’t cheap though… went on a window shopping spree today to curb my ”time-of-the-year-depression” and guess what, it is so hard to resist but I still managed to stop myself from splurging my purse dry!
Absoluteky fell in love with this jersey floral dress from TopShop. RM298
Â
Didn’t buy tho as I don’t think it’s worth the price
This coming week is going to be tough. But as tough as it gets, it’s just a matter of time.
Have a good week ahead pals!

Le Deli Mt. Kiara
Last night met up with Mich & Courteney after work.
Â
Le Deli is a small deli which sells your normal grocery items, cold cuts and wine. It’s situated right next to Coffee Bean in Mt. Kiara and they have a few tables outside the shop for people to chill out. Their selection of wine is reasonably priced and their coldcut sandwiches are yummy too. The ambience there very much reminds the girls of Melbourne and me of Liverpool so whenver we want to go for somewhere quiet to catch up on each other’s lives, Le Deli would be the place usually.  Â
 Â

 Â
That’s our typical Friday Night Life in KL. Â
 Â
Am gonna be car-less again for three to five weeks. That’s quite sad as I only got my baby back for less than a month! Sigh…. Tim has sold off his car and now waiting for the new Camry to arrive. Many personal plans have to be deterred for now; gym plans will be affected as well and worse, I’ll be commuting the notorious LRT to work! :(  But Tim has done so much for me in the past, it would be inhuman say NO to him ain’t it. But on the brighter side, I probably will be able to save up more $$$ as I won’t be going out as much anymore. ;)Â
Such is life. Sometimes we just have to juggle our priorities and learn how to strike a balance.

Weekend Rewind Part 2
Another weekend has came and gone but fond memories is what we will always carry with us. Our supposedly swimming workout has turned into a somewhat nutty dipping session under the drizzling rain followed by hours of boozing at my place with countless rounds of ”truth or dare”.
 Â
   Â
Here’s a tip, girls.
   Â
Â
Truth or Dare is only fun when played with mixed genders. Whereas us girls ahem, every single round has somehow turned into explicit discussions which wouldn’t normally discuss openly. Warped ideas were exchanged; taboo thoughts were shared; silly laughters filled the house. What a night I tell ya! Guess who’s the one who earned the most throughout the night?  No other than the only boy in the house who came late i.e Jun Fwu!!!
    Â
Anyway, will let pictures speak for the night . Tonnes of pictures to be loaded so be warned.

Weekend Rewind Part 1
It was a very long and wonderful weekend, almost close to perfect if wasn’t the rain. Purposely took last Fri off to stretch it to 4 consecutive days. Didn’t go anywhere in particular, just wanted to take some time off to recharge myself & also to get those tedious pending errands cleared which I’ve procrastinated for the longest time.
But no, I still didn’t make it to the dentist for my annual checkup.
That would be almost an impossible task but anyway that’s a separate subject altogether.Â
Anyway having 4 days off was superb. Even if it means by simply sitting in front of the idiot box and mindlessly ran a few rounds of movie marathon home alone, I was gleefully contented. Noticed sofa was getting lil’ dusty. Can’t remember when was the last time I sat in my own living room, properly. House cleaning hadn’t felt so good before!
Â
Â
There was 2 highlights and 1 downfall lowlight over this short break though.
Â
The downfall lowlight is such that I’ve gotten myself a temperature because of too much frolicking under the rain and hence have disappointed Von for our supposedly pasar malam date. Sorry babe! ![]()
 Â
But the bright side is there are actually 2 highlights to shout about!
      Â
First, I finally met up with Jon after god knows how long. It’s twisted and wicked but to cut long story short, never have we imagined to have a day like this and we just couldn’t stop saying to ourselves ” This is crazy huh!”Â
Things sometimes turn out in the strangest way. Don’t you think life is always full of surprises?
 Â
We had a quick and casual dinner at this Indonesian Chicken Place called “Waroeng Penyet” at the Curve.Â
Â
We ordered a Penyet set and a Panggang set. Don’t ask me what that means though! :p
 Â
  Â
Chicken Panggang - I think it’s Fried Chicken
    Â
Chicken Penyet - Supposedly Stone Grilled Chicken according to Jon
    Â

 Â
Food was only mediocre. The chicken Panggang is probably slightly better than the Penyet if you ask me. Never mind the flattened coke or the overly sweetened lime juice. Or the pouring rain throughout. tsk tsk tskÂ
  Â
Would still prefer Nandos or Kenny Rogers anytime. Â
Â
  Â
Didn’t realize I’m such a fussy eater sometimes. Only sometimes…
 Â
 Â
What’s the other highlight? Next post! ![]()

How To Cure Hang Over
Believe me, it’s a secret recipe but just because it’s Monday and I’ve decided to be generous with my reader today. hehe
If the thought of itching to go merry on a weekend and yet dread the feeling of hang over the next day sounds familiar to you, then read on.
Â
Why stop yourself from having a great time when all you want is to let your hair down, and to let loose a lil’ of those tension accumulated over a long week? Sometimes life’s harsh enough on us. Or too short to worry too much. Some slight intoxication won’t hurt much as long as you don’t over do it. All you need it to try this out before you knock off at night!
Â
1) Hot Lemon Water
-
Ingredient:
- 1 whole lemon
- a cup of hot water
Cut the lemon into half, squeeze the heck out of the juice into a cup, pour hot water and drink it all. It’s not going to taste good but trust me, you’ll feel a whole lot better the next day.
Â
And you will also need to do this.
 Â
Â
2) Aromatherapy Oil
-
Ingredient:
- 5 drops of pure Lavender oil
- 5 drops of pure Rosmary oil
- 15 drops of pure Olive oil
Mix them together and rub them into your temples, head, neck and let the scent slowly sniff through your nose. Go to bed immediately!
Viola! You will wake up the next day feeling good and probably even more energized than you’d normally do.

Preliminary Plans
Sis has jet off to London this morning. Kind of miss her already.
Might get a few friends over for some wine and chill over the weekend.
On a lighter note, uni mates are planning a trip to Malaysia/ Thailand coming Aug which got me totally excited now. Haven’t seen them ever since I left Liverpool. If it really materializes, it would definitely be a helluva gathering. Think Italian Job! 5 peeps who are now scattered all over the places to come together as a variation of interesting combination. Two are doing PHDs in Cambridge and NZ. Two with some big guys mnc. Last one’s a gay in ns.  And me? Charlize in the making.
But these boys are great. Miss them loads.
Bunions are swollened, consequences of my new Zara pump which I bought last weekend. Pumps are irresistibly devillish.
Believe me not. Learnt two new acronyms over meetings this week.
As in, ” omg this PC fair costume is so cfm!”
Hence that makes it the most fruitful week thus far!
