Damn those spots
My 2 weeks medical leave was finally over. After relaxing at home for so long it wasn’t easy to get back into the routine, I was absolutely knackered after my Friday and Saturday shifts. Those freaking ugly spots really didn’t do me any good and it wasn’t soon before i became the laughing stock amongst my colleagues. Sigh! As much as I try not to be overly self-conscious about these spots, it’s hard especially when you are in the customer service department, people do look at you one kind as though you are from another planet. The indifferent treatment I receive from them is, shall I say, a wee bit disheartening.
Oh well, guess I just have to bear it with a grin and plenty of patience.
Went for a movie on Sunday, ‘Collateral’. It wasn’t as good as I’ve expected, it was more of a ‘documentary’ kind and the scenes were pretty dull. I was practically yawning throughout the first three quarter of the show even though Tom Cruise gave his best shot. Nonetheless, the film provided me with the comfort that I did not get after watching ‘Open Water’ last weekend, as it was the worst film I’ve ever watched in recent years.
