The best 8 bucks spent on a Sunday noon
Is no other than the nasi lemak in Village Park Restaurant.Â
This is definitely the best nasi lemak that I’ve ever tasted. Ironic as it sounds, this place is actually recommended by my expat colleague, Anabelle whose spicy food usually isn’t in her list. She told me I must try it and also after hearing some positive feedbacks & online reviews, looks like it’s a place not to be missed.

It’s true.
A good Nasi Lemak for a Sunday brunch is definitely an indulgence to me & perhaps many Malaysians out there. And today I’ve attested to Village Park’s excellent quality of nasi lemak. I thought Madam Kwan was good, but not until I’ve tried this! And it’s cheaper as well. I’m not really a big fan of nasi lemak but had a sudden craving for rice today after missing it for 2 weeks. Certainly satisfied, so much so that it has kept me full for the rest of the day!

Nasi Lemak with Fried chicken ( RM6)
Perfect to go with this fresh fruit juice -Â Kedondong with Sour Plum (RM2)
~Â
I had no idea what kedondong is but I saw the guy next to our table was sipping a greenish looking drink which looked like apple juice, so I pointed to his drink and the waiter replied, ” oh kedondong, satu!”
It tasted like pear. But only better.

Alright. It has been really busy filled with various events last week and will be embracing more this coming 2 weeks.
Have a great one ahead!Â
